The Golden Triangle Washington DC - finalist
Hello from the Golden Triangle neighborhood of Washington, DC.
On behalf of the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District in Washington, D.C., I’m writing to let you know that one of you Haiku was selected for display in our neighborhood, beginning in mid-March.
While the judges selected other haiku for this year’s winners, your haiku was chosen to be among the 200+ signs shared around our 172-block area downtown.
The judges reviewed nearly 5,000 haiku submissions in this year’s competition. Submissions came from 90 different countries and from all 50 states in the U.S., as well as from the District of Columbia, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
Haiku signs will remain on display until May. We invite you to visit the Golden Triangle, view the haiku, and explore our beautiful neighborhood. Unfortunately, we do not have a map showing the specific locations of each haiku.
Thank you for participating in the 2026 Golden Haiku competition.
Best,
Creative Activation team at the Golden Triangle BID
